Author Showcase: #The12DaysofChristmas – Writer Style!

The Twelve Days of Christmas is more than a Christmas Carol that we avoid singing (at least that is what I do, it is such a long song), it is a time of celebration. I would like to celebrate the twelve days of Christmas this year, by raising a glass (insert beverage of choice here) to the accomplishments of some of the writers whom I have been blessed to meet and interact with. I will be sending out a post, or gift if you will, each day from December 25, 2019, to January 5, 2020 spotlighting an author that I admire, and providing links to their works. Trust me, you won’t want to miss it, I know some pretty awesome writers and the worlds they create are amazing!

In one way or another, each of these talented women are a fundamental part of my growth as a writer. Their willingness to answer questions ( a lot of them at times ) and lend a guiding hand makes me proud to be part of the writer community. For any writers looking for their tribe, I have met some fantastic folks under the hashtags #turtlewriters and #dolphinwriters, a few of whom you will meet through my posts. If you write Romance, you can’t go wrong by getting involved with the Romance Writers of America (RWA).

I’ve added some links below that I found interesting about the Twelve Days of Christmas and will be leaving you with a Christmas Carol that was the only version I knew of this song until 3rd Grade. I also didn’t wear shoes until then, imagine my surprise during our first snowfall here in Michigan!

Happy Holidays everyone, and be sure to check out my posts starting December 25th!
