Starts December 25th! Author Showcase: #The12DaysofChristmas – Writer Style! – D.A. Henneman

It’s days away! the 12 Days of Christmas Writer Style will be starting soon! I would like to celebrate by raising a glass to the accomplishments of some the writers whom I have been blessed to meet and interact with. I will be sending out a post, or gift if you will, each day from December 25, 2019, to January 5, 2020 hi-lighting an author that I admire, and providing links to their works. Trust me, you won’t want to miss it, I know some pretty awesome writers and they create some fantastic stuff!

In one way or another, each of these talented women are a fundamental part of my growth as a writer, and in no way is this list inclusive. I have met an incredible number of creatives who have each inspired me in different ways, and narrowing my posts down to 12 was really hard. I want to take this time to thank everyone in the @GDRWA, #RWA and the Twitter #WritingCommunity for their willingness to answer questions and lend a guiding hand. It makes me proud to be part of the writer community and I look forward to the day I can do the same for a new writer trying to find their way. For any writers looking for their tribe, I have met some fantastic folks under the hashtags #turtlewriters and #dolphinwriters, a few of whom you will meet through my posts.

I’ve added some links below that I found interesting about the Twelve Days of Christmas and will be leaving you with a Christmas Carol that was the only version I knew of this song until 3rd Grade. I also didn’t wear shoes until then, imagine my surprise during our first snowfall here in Michigan!
