Author Showcase: Ninth Day of Christmas – Sylvia Hubbard

For the Ninth day of Christmas…Writer’s Style, I am so geeked to introduce you to Sylvia Hubbard! This lady is a fireball! We met at a book signing and have been popping in and out of each others live since. She is one of the nicest people in the business, and writes some pretty amazing stuff! Sylvia has an engaging presence and is connected to all the tools and services you need to understand the self-publishing world.

Established in 2000, Motown Writers Network and The Michigan Literary Network was created to strengthen Michigan’s Literary Community and enrich Detroit Writers. Sylvia’s continuing dedication to empowering and educating writers is truly inspiring, and I am so glad we met that afternoon in Ann Arbor. She is a force, and I am continually amazed at her ability to think outside the box.

Sylvia writes Urban Contemporary and Erotic Romance. She has an amazing selection of books that you will want to check out and the best way to do that is to head over to her Amazon Author page. Here are the blurbs from a couple of her latest releases:

There was absolutely nothing Madison wanted more than to be savored, enjoyed, and loved for every inch of her true self—inside and outside. Hungry with an insatiable desire for passion and the ability to give herself fully to another, she discovers a handsome stranger, who can fulfill her every wish and she is willing to do anything possible to gain his adoration, but there’s a catch.

As the two grow closer together she discovers hidden jewels and hellish facets to herself and life that she never experienced before. Highly intelligent though lacking confidence, Madison’s pain is deeply experienced and brought to the surface as this stranger discovers the entirety of her—insecurities and all.

Yet just as her dreams are finally beginning to come true, someone steals her life’s research? Was it her best friend? Her father? The assistant? Or the stranger she thought she could trust? Will she survive this deception or lose herself and everything she has worked for?

A Little Bit of Sin

From Book 1: Synthia is a beauty like no other – not only on the inside but as well on the outside. She’s used to men falling over her, but she never made a big deal about her appearance. Accomplished in business, intelligent, with a great sense of style, she’s pleased that she can finally get married to a man who she’s only content with. Just as she makes good arm candy for him, it’s reciprocal for her. Plus after a past incident, she swore she would only allow herself to date well to do professional men who made a legitimate living. Her only fault she could say was her voracious curiosity. And on the day before she knows George is to propose, her best friend puts in her head the one thing she has never

Done: Slept with a guy outside of her race. With her beauty, she can’t just find anyone, so she does what any one in her position and wealth would do: She finds a professional. Let’s just hope George never finds out what a good time she had.
