What I’ve Been Up To…

Using my own covers as my inspiration to get things done today! While I haven’t been writing as much as I would like, I am getting more words down. I have also been busy behind the scenes building my online store and linking all of the services that will get my stories from my fingertips to your hands. It is up and running and has been tested with a few orders, and so far so good. I do have some free offerings there as well, so try it out and let me know what you think! Ultimately, I wanted customers to be able to buy direct from me in the future, or continue to make purchases through the stores they were used to. Through my site, direct sales for e-books are processed via Book Funnel which allows the customer to download and use the file on any device and through any book app. The site will also deliver a download immediately if you would rather have the file that way.

Paperbacks will be printed on demand, just as they are now on most platforms, and will come to you by way of an arrangement I have with Book Vault. It took a little over a week for me to receive my paperback, and for those who go that route and still want it signed, just reach out and I can send you a signed bookplate! Things may change with the world as it is… but I’m learning that if I want to do this writer thing the rest of my life, I need to learn to be adaptable. My current mantra (one of many) is “I am a willow, I can bend.” Sometimes I need a bit of an attitude adjustment which is when I pull out my Elle Woods moves.

That is enough of that… I need to take my age into account, lol.

For those who like to use their local library, and who doesn’t, all of my titles are on the Libby App. If you don’t see it in your library, be sure to ask for it or mark it as something you are interested in! The more they are tagged for interest, the more likely it will be that my books will be picked up by your library system! Before you ask about audio, I’m working on a solution, but not making nearly enough to pay narrators… so more on that later.

Now that the book is finally launched, I will be heading back into my writing cave through the end of the year. This duology has been tugging at me for months, but I felt the publishing of the Shifters Collection and getting my store up and running took priority. I am so ready to get creative, and I can’t wait to start sharing more snippets as we go along. I like the sound of that… Snippet Sunday!
