Books on my Nightstand – #7

I just took a quick peek at my previous Nightstand post, and was impressed that I managed to get through quite a few of the books I had listed. That makes me happy! So happy that I celebrated and…you guessed it…purchased some more books!

One I picked up at a Peddler’s Mall in KY when I was visiting recently. My Sister’s Keeper is an older book by Jodi Picoult, but I loved Great Small Things so much, I wanted to try another one of her books. Besides, I love giving an older book a home, and when I’m done with it, there is always a Book Fairy I know that could leave it for the next reader!

I have also added Practical Magic to my pile by Alice Hoffman. I am interested to see just how much the book differs from the movie, which is one of my all time favorites by the way! I will be taking this on my upcoming trip to New York for the RWA National Convention!

I also have several non-fiction books that I am trying to get through, most of which were purchased to help me with things that I am diving into right now on my writer journey. I always try to balance the marketing books with craft, so have quite the list of books going.

What books do you have on your TBR pile right now? I would love to know! Drop me a line anytime at saraybooksllc@gmail.com or comment on any of my social media links which you can find here.

If you are looking for a book to add to your TBR pile, you can follow this link to a promotion I am part of this month! If you like Paranormal, Fantasy or Sci-Fi Romance, you will want to check it out! I may be doing some shopping myself!

Happy reading! XO

  1. I’m reading Kathleen Long’s-Chasing Rainbows (WF), and Robert MacDonald’s-At the Back of the North Wind (old-school, 1905 YA). I also have Save the Cat on the stand. Lastly, and you would probably really like this find…The Green Witch (Your Guide to The Natural Magic of Herbs, Flowers, Essential Oils, and More) by Arin Murphy-Hiscock. Have a great time in NY!
