Books on my Nightstand – #13

I just did a review of my book stack from last post, and didn’t manage to get any of them completely read, although there were some others that were filtered into the list. Considering this last stack was all research/non-fiction, it wasn’t surprising that I haven’t read them front to back. With the plans to finish writing book 2 in my Supernatural Mystery series, I am finding pleasure reads are suiting me more right now.

This book has been on my Kindle for some time, and I just moved it up to the top of the list. I adore Carey Baldwin, her writing is amazing and the characters draw you right in! I’m so excited for this psychological thriller! Her First Mistake will be what I am reading over the next couple of weeks.

I loved The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, so when I came across a sale on this book I had to download it. I will be doing some traveling in the next couple of months, so my Kindle will be getting a fair amount of love. This is one of the books I have lined up to read by November. Can’t wait!

Murder At The Beacon Bakeshop will be the first book by Darci Hannah that I will be checking out, and I am so excited to be moving this up on my stack! Darci is delightful and I had the pleasure of doing an author event with her recently which is where I found out about her newest releases. Book 2 of this series is out now, so I guess I better get cracking! Hoping this cozy mystery will get me in the mood to finish mine!

Here are the books I haven’t gotten to yet, that I will be using as reference early next year when I dive back into my Origin Of Witchcraft research. I have some post ideas for 2022, so if you haven’t checked out my series, be sure to head over to my Mythical Creature Monday page where I keep track of them!

What books do you have on your TBR pile right now? I would love to know! Especially if you have just read something that knocked your socks off! I am especially looking for suggestions on anything Witch, Witchcraft and the like. Drop me a line anytime at da@dahenneman.com or comment on any of my social media links which you can find here.

In the meantime, happy reading and all my love and wishes that you stay happy and healthy! XO
