Books on my Nightstand – #14

I have decided that my TBR is just too unwieldy now to even attempt to reign in, so I’m not even going to report that I haven’t read the last books I said I would. Nor will I report that I have added more books to an already impossible reading pile. I will say that I am pretty darn excited about these latest editions!

I ordered “The Change” by Kirsten Miller after hearing her describe the plot on a podcast. Three women going through peri-menopause find that they have magical powers? Yes please! This may very well move up to the top of my reading pile after I finish..

“The Witch Haven” by Sasha Payton Smith has been a delightful read so far, I am about a third of the way through it. She writes beautiful prose, and the descriptions are rich. The author weaves history with magic, which I always find is a fun combination. Look for my review on Goodreads which is coming soon!

My reading list wouldn’t be complete without Mr. King’s latest novel. This one especially grabbed me as it includes a parallel world where good and evil are at war. Anyone who has read my Power Of Four series would completely understand why this would be my jam. This is definitely in my top 5 to finish by the end of the year.

Here are the books I haven’t gotten to yet, that I will be using as a reference early next year when I dive back into my Supernatural Mystery series. I will be posting my articles on a page specific to this type of non-fiction, so look for the link on my Mythical Creature Monday page where I index all of my research on Goddesses, Myths, and Legends!

What books do you have on your TBR pile right now? I would love to know! Especially if you have just read something that knocked your socks off! I am especially looking for suggestions on anything Witch, Witchcraft, and the like. Drop me a line anytime at da@dahenneman.com or comment on any of my social media links which you can find here.

In the meantime, happy reading and all my love and wishes that you stay happy and healthy! XO
