Melt your panties off with this compelling three-book box set from award-winning and bestselling authors.

A few months back, an opportunity arose in my group, the Greater Detroit Romance Writers, to be part of a fundraising anthology. I signed up thinking that it wouldn’t take me any time at all to come up with a novelette-length story, but like a lot of my projects, I complicated things. This time around, I had my subscribers name my characters. They did terrific, by the way, I can’t imagine these two going by any other name than Sam and Tasha, but blending outside items into a story you are creating on a deadline can sometimes be tricky.

Each of the anthologies has a theme, the Fantasy collection has mysterious panties, which meant that each one of us had to include that element in our story. On top of a hero and heroine I didn’t name, and the inclusion of mysterious panties, I had also decided that I was going to write the story as a spin-off to my Power Of Four series. Another connection, this time by way of a tiny reference in Book 1 – Sea of Dreams where I mention the title of a book that Brooke is reading – aka Wolf Of My Heart. This was getting complicated. I had also decided that the cameo would be one of my favorite characters to write, to date, Zilla (pictured below). She is still smug about it.

Anyway, the last thing was that I wanted to include some experiences I had in New York before the world had shut down for the pandemic, so I set my heart on including Central Park, a Hot Dog Vendor, the Russian Tea Room, and Nesting Dolls. Overall, the planning of the story took a little longer than I had hoped, and I was a little later than I would have liked, but the story ended up getting me out of a pretty big funk, so I will be forever grateful. Sam and Tasha were a treat, and I will say that they are a little friskier than some of the characters I have been writing lately, so beware, they may surprise you. They surprised me if I’m honest. I would say maybe 3-4 peppers on a 5-pepper scale… just sayin’. It must be a shifter thing.

This book has 3 full stories, by 3 different authors, which have never been released and are exclusive to this limited-edition publication. What I love about this book is that the stories are short and can be enjoyed with coffee in the morning or as you unwind at night. Paperbacks will be available as well, and signed copies by all the authors can be arranged, just send me an email at da@dahnneman.com.
